ALWAYS BE PATIENT

In this fast-paced society, almost everything is instant now. One may have instant messaging, instant noodles, instant coffee, instant money, instant friends, instant information, and many more. Living now in an instant culture where everything may give you convenience is somehow an advantage for many people. It’s like the world is offering a giant vending machine where everything is given to you in just a minute or second. Because of the wide variety of choices and the fastest way to get it, people tend to forget the word “patience.”

Being patient is one of the most important qualities that man should possess. This is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, and it is a good skill that helps you to peacefully wait for the things that are meant for you.

Is being patient important these days? Absolutely yes!

Look at the opposite side of patience. If one is very impatient with the things he wants to achieve, he may manifest unhappiness and irritability. But if one is so patient in waiting and hoping, it will give peace in every situation. Patience helps a person persevere and decide more rationally, which leads to greater fulfillment. A clear mind and positive attitude manifest a good healthy lifestyle.

Patient people are good at appreciating life. They are grateful for the things that happen now and not the things that aren’t present yet. Remember, the more thankful, the more they become patient and it allows them to notice their surroundings and the people around them and gives them the recognition they deserve.

Patient people are nice people because they know that sometimes life is hard but they always look at the bright side of every situation and their hope never dies.

Let’s have a glimpse of the very essence of patience manifested to the people of God.

“So you also must be patient. Establish your hearts [strengthen and confirm them…] for the coming of the Lord is very near.”
James 5:8 Amplified Bible

Let’s all be patient and look at life with meaning.
